We’ve got some pretty amazing golden barrels. This is a multi. Quite a few on there, as you can see. What happens when they multiply… the mother plant passes away, but all the nutrients still come up through the mother plant into the pups on the top.
The mother plant never ever disintegrates; she sits there, but the pups actually overtake the mother plant. As you can see, she’s still got a few little ones growing in that little section there. This one is doing the same thing. So the pups do overtake the mother plant, forming quite the feature.
